DataCert Expands Commitment to Global Legal Operations Market
Appointment of Jeff Hodge in Global Thought Leadership Role Builds on DataCert's Commitment to Global Customers
LONDON, 20 November 2008 - DataCert, Inc., the leading provider of legal operations management solutions, today announces the appointment of Jeff Hodge to the role of vice president, market leadership, responsible for growing DataCert's global business. In his over three years as senior director, EMEA for DataCert, Jeff oversaw the establishment and expansion of the European legal operations management market.
"I'm very proud to have been a part of bringing the benefits of legal spend management to Europe," said Jeff Hodge. "DataCert is now very firmly entrenched in the European market and is positioned for tremendous future growth. In fact, we have a very strong global customer base and solid relationships with most top-tier law firms in EMEA."
With offices in London, Paris, and Frankfurt and dedicated implementation, customer relationship, and support teams in EMEA, DataCert delivers unparalleled service to their global customers, including their extensive base of European customers, who span the financial services, healthcare, automobile, and facilities management industries.
DataCert continues to deliver on the product front too with the recent release of AIMS 3.10, which provides global corporations with the tools they need to control their legal spend while adhering to international regulatory standards and handling the complexities of multiple currencies.
"DataCert is leading the market in defining and delivering the legal operations management requirements and functionality that any enterprise company doing business internationally needs," said Jerome Raguin, territory manager, EMEA.
AIMS 3.10 globalisation features include:
- Credit Notes – Value Added Tax (VAT) audit guidelines constrain corporate legal departments from making adjustments to invoices that contain VAT. When a legal department determines that an invoice containing VAT requires an adjustment or correction, this feature notifies the vendor to submit an invoice as a credit note to offset and void the erroneous invoice.
- Multiple Currency Support – Corporate legal departments have the flexibility to use any currency as the standard operating currency for the AIMS system. In addition, to support vendors with multiple international offices, vendors have the ability to submit invoices in more than one currency.
- Archive Viewer – In compliance with EU regulations, the AIMS archive viewer provides the corporate legal department the ability to export and store original e-invoice data within the EU. In addition, this feature can be used to present the exported e-invoice data in a readable format upon request by VAT authorities.
AIMS 3.10 is available now. For more information, please contact DataCert at 800-780-3681 or e-mail emeasales@datacert.com (international inquiries) or nasales@datacert.com (North American inquiries).
